Admissions Information
New/Transfer Students
Chestnut Mountain Christian Academy in Flowery Branch, GA, admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Because Chestnut Mountain Christian Academy does not offer English as a second language, it cannot accept students who do not demonstrate English speaking skills commensurate with their age level as determined by the administration.
To be considered for admission, all forms must be completed and submitted to the school office. (Download the New Student Checklist.) At that time, an interview will be scheduled. All upcoming Kindergartners and First Graders will be administered a Readiness Test. Students applying for 2nd – 5th grades will be tested if deemed necessary.
A student may be admitted to Chestnut Mountain Christian Academy once established requirements and conditions have been fulfilled. Prospective students should have predominantly A’s and B’s with no discipline record. CMCA does not offer programs for students with special academic or behavioral needs. If you have any questions please call the office at (770) 967-0529.
Withdrawals
With acceptance of a student for attendance at CMCA, we are reserving space for the year for that student. Furthermore, reserving the space may hinder another student from being accepted and budgets are established based upon enrollment. Therefore, if after enrollment a student is voluntarily withdrawn, suspended or dismissed after the first day of school, no part of the fees or tuition paid to the school shall be refunded.
If unforeseen circumstances determine the need to withdraw your child, a written withdrawal letter must be submitted to the school office one month prior to the withdrawal date. In order to transfer academic records, all fees must be paid, all books and other school property returned and the proper forms completed. No student will be considered for re-enrollment prior to the completion of one calendar year from the date of withdrawal, unless special approval is granted by the CMCA School Board.
